Y42 Flotsam

Y42 Flotsam was built in 1963 and has an amazing track record of being in exceptional condition, never requiring restoration, never breaking a rib.  Flotsam was the last of the Yankees to be built by John Linderman: he used laminated frames and all bronze fastenings.

Y42 Flotsam was the 3rd boat that John Linderman and his sons built for their family. They made some mistakes on their first YOD, not so many on the 2nd, and by the 3rd boat they knew exactly the best way to build a Yankee. For its place in the Linderman boats, Flotsam is a spectacular boat.
